We live in a beautiful world - The One Oriflame Sweden

Beauty is bigger than the way you look – it’s about the way you act. Beauty is being true to yourself and caring for those around you. It’s about making changes in your life that help make the world more beautiful. Everyone can make a beautiful change.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
We’re passionate about fulfilling dreams and creating opportunities for people to improve their lives. We bring beauty and wellbeing to the many, and respect people and nature every step of the way. Now we’re celebrating people in the Oriflame community who act beautifully, and by sharing their stories, inspire others to do the same.
On their own, each change might seem small, but together they create a positive impact around the world. Together, we have the passion and spirit to make a difference, and when we put our hearts into something, there's no limit to what we can do. There‘s nothing more beautiful.

#BEAUTIFULCHANGE

5 OF OUR MANY INITIATIVES
Here are 5 of our many initiatives to lessen our impact on the planet and to bring about beautiful change.
Our EcoBeauty range
EcoBeauty was the first global cosmetics range certified by Fairtrade®. But EcoBeauty does more than just care for your skin — it changes lives. In the farming communities where we source the coconut oil for EcoBeauty, the proceeds from sales provide training in biodiversity, organic farming and natural resource management, and empowering women.
Microbeads
Oriflame only use biodegradable, natural-origin beads in all of our exfoliating products. We want safe, clean water because it is good for your health and the environment.
Wellness Factory
Our Wellness factory in Rourkee, India has roof-mounted solar panels to use the sun to reduce power consumption. Thanks to its many clever design solutions that focus on saving energy and creating a healthy, environmentally friendly work place, it has earned LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification.
Childhood Foundation
Oriflame has committed to donate €1 million to the World Childhood Foundation through sales of Tenderly Promise. We want to do all we can to help vulnerable children in need have happier, healthier and safer childhoods and brighter futures.
Recyclable Future
In 2016, 99% of our catalogue paper came from credibly certified forests. We stopped more than 96% of our manufacturing waste from going to landfills.

“We are committed to reducing the impact of our business”

IT'S A NEVERENDING JOURNEY
Our long-term goal is to become a fully sustainable company. This means living within the limits of our planet, respecting our environment and contributing to a fair society where everyone can prosper.
This is why, when formulating our products, we strive to use natural ingredients that are in line with our strong environmental policies and are not harmful to the environment. We were one of the first companies to use plant extracts in our skin care products, and we’ve always tried to optimise the use of our ingredients from renewable plant sources.
We’ve made a lot of progress, and there's still more to go. We know that there’s a long journey ahead of us and still much more still to be done. That is why, in 2014, we decided to implement our new sustainability strategy to define the three key areas that Oriflame continues to stay focused on and is dedicated to.
Our journey to sustainability will be a long one. But the nature and size of our business means we have the responsibility and opportunity to achieve real, lasting, positive change.

Heaven On Earth ( Kashmir )

“ Jammu and Kashmir is part of Pakistan, in blood, in flesh, in culture, in history, in geography. In every way and in every form.” – Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s speech at the United Nations T her e are few words that can judiciously describe the sentiments of the Pakistani people for Kashmir and the continuing struggle of its inhabitants. It is even harder to explain the depth of anguish, frustration and distress at the tragic continuation of atrocities on a daily basis in Indian-occupied Kashmir, even seven decades on. The indigenous struggle for the right of self-determination by the Kashmiris has been undeterred by the barbarity of the 700,000 Indian forces illegally occupying the territory. Today, the unrestrained and targeted use of pellet guns is permanently blinding Kashmiris, especially the youth. They are being humiliated, their voices choked, and their source of connectivity with the outside world has been restricted. According to the data available as per Ministry of Forei...

Health Issues In Pakistan

H ealth sector in Pakistan has been struggling for many years. Health delivery system is run by both state and non-state authorities. People living in urban areas have an easy access to best healthcare facilities whereas, in rural areas, accessibility to proper medical services is difficult. People either live far away from the clinics/hospitals or they don’t have any such institutes in their areas. In Pakistan, many efforts have been made to improve the health system but still it is not encouraging. The main health issues are due to lack of awareness, poor diet, water pollution and hygiene problems leading to communicable and non-communicable diseases. Poor medical facilities are also resulting in health deterioration of underprivileged people of Pakistan. Due to the shortage of nurses and doctors for rural areas, every year thousands of children die during birth or if they survive, they suffer from one or two diseases. The increasing number of heart patients mostly including chi...
